Have you met the trikini?
Fully equiped with a matching water-proof face mask and even its own Wikipedia page, summmer 2020 is setting a whole new trend: the trikini.
Initially mentioned as just a joke among her family, Tiziana Scaramuzzo, owner of the Italian brand Elexa Beachwear, took the idea and made it into reality with her recently launched three-piece swimsuits.
While the hot trikini’s are only avail for sale in her Italy based shop (without the option of international shipping) the trikinis have already sold out after she shared photos of her daughter modeling them on Instagram!
People.com even quoted Kelly Ripa and her husbands comments on the trend noting the below:
During Monday’s at-home episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, the talk show host and her husband Mark Consuelos (who’s filling in for Ryan Seacrest) talked about the viral swim set.
“I think that’s a great idea.” Consuelos, 49, said. His wife, also 49, agreed: “I think it’s a great idea too.”
“That way we maybe can feel less anxious about going to the beach,” Ripa added. “Maybe.”
But rest assured that we all can get on the trikini train! I can only imagine how quickly worldwide swimsuit companys will be producing (with the option of international shipping!) trikinis and soon enough we can all be rocking the beaches with the new trend!
