Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Friday, May 16 2014
11:00 a.m.
WHAT: RH (Restoration Hardware) will officially open the doors to RH Greenwich: The Gallery at the Historic Post Office on Friday, May 16 2014. After years of planning to honor its singular place in the town’s cultural landscape, the building’s exterior has been completely restored, while the interior has been transformed to serve as an architectural canvas for artistic installations of globally curated collections.
Now comprised of nearly 23,000 square feet of interior/exterior space, the Design Gallery will feature intimate rooftop terraces, public gardens as well as Interior Design Services. Constructed in 1917, the historic landmark has been reimagined consistent with its original design and intent. The entire notable civic space, including the triangular park where a colossal, 50-foot obelisk erected as a World War I memorial remains, has been revived and enhanced in partnership with the town.
RH will give $100 gift cards to the first 100 customers who attend the Ribbon Cutting ceremony and store opening.
