I’ve been doing a little more dining out than cooking in lately and I’ve got some local spots you have to check out. Whether you’re after cozy, casual, or just something quick, these are the in-and-out (3/4 diners!) favorites I’ve been loving lately:
Putnam Restaurant (373 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830)
This iconic spot has been serving for over 40 years, and for good reason. It’s the ultimate old-school diner vibe—booths, bar stools, and a menu filled with homemade comfort food, including Greek-inspired dishes. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you really can’t go wrong here.
Cos Cobber (31 E Putnam Ave, Cos Cob, CT 06807)
Right off the Post Road in (where else?) Cos Cob, this long-standing favorite nails that perfect balance between variety and simplicity. No overwhelming menu here—just easy, no-fuss bites for any time of day.

Glory Days Diner (69 E Putnam Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830)
The definition of a classic. Located across from the YMCA in downtown Greenwich, this diner has literally everything you could want. Fair warning: Sundays around noon can get crazy, but the wait is totally worth it for the true diner experience.

Wildacre (147 E Putnam Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830)
This fresh face is all about healthy, fast, and delicious. Whether you’re grabbing chicken or cauliflower (for my veggie lovers) with sides like brussel sprouts or mac & cheese, it’s quick and (mostly!) good for you. Take it to go, or dine in on actual plates—it’s healthy fast food at its best, and I’m obsessed!
