If you’re a foodie who is looking for new restaurants to try, or you want to eat amazing food in the company of the marine life that the Maritime Aquarium has to offer then “Maritime with a Twist” is the place for you! Filled with food, fun, and fish, this foodie event at the Maritime Aquarium will have you swimming over for more! On June 22nd from 6pm – 8pm, the Maritime Aquarium in South Norwalk, CT is having a event for foodies to sample the restaurants of South Norwalk. “Maritime with a Twist” will host numerous restaurants and people can walk around trying different dishes from different restaurants throughout the evening. The proceeds that the event makes will be benefiting the nonprofit. Tickets are $50 dollars, aquarium members have the opportunity to save $5 when purchasing a ticket for the event. The event is limited to participants 21 and older. More and more restaurants are signing on to be a part of the event but as of now the participating restaurants and taverns include Cask Republic, El Segundo, Hell or High Water, Killer B, Maikana, Match, Prime Burger, Rio Bravo Tacos & Tequila, The Spread, Tablao and Washington Prime! Along with the restaurants and taverns, the participating breweries and artisanal distilleries onboard include: Aspetuck Brew Lab, Asylum Distillery, Hartford Flavor, Hell or High Water, Charter Oak, 212 and Spiked Seltzer. Walk through the brand new, mesmerizing “Journey with Jellies” exhibit while enjoying the food and beverages provided by the verdures. Experience the marine life of the aquarium surrounded by friends, amazing food and live music by Kritikal Mass and a Fairfield County band that cover classic and modern rock and southern rock and blues. This delicious event will provide you with a wonderful evening in South Norwalk!
