Greenwich, CT – On Thursday, June 8th at 6:15pm, Pure Barre Greenwich will host a class at Bruce Park with proceeds from the event going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Man of the Year Campaign — supporting Ryan Longmire and his team: Answer for Cancer. “Pure Barre hosted a similar event last year,” said Ryan Longmire. “It was a big hit in the Greenwich Community so they wanted to bring it back again this year. Pure Barre is passionate about positively impacting their local community and supporting charities that promote a healthy lifestyle.”
Whether a Pure Barre expert or newbie, anyone can come lift, tone and burn for this great cause. All participants will meet by the gazebo in Bruce Park in Greenwich, CT starting around 5:45pm and they can make a suggested donation of $20 online beforehand or bring cash or a check that evening. Participants should also come with a yoga mat or towel and be prepared to have fun!
Pure Barre at the Park offers a unique outdoor exercise experience while supporting a charity that Greenwich native Ryan Longmire and others are passionate about. “The Campaign is very important to me because the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is truly a one of a kind organization,” said Ryan. “Their research is not only ground breaking but ground shattering. Anything that I can do to help them achieve their goals means they are one step closer to making the world free of blood cancer diseases.”
After class, everyone is invited to join Ryan and his “Answer for Cancer” team at MacDuffs to continue the fun and support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It will be an enjoyable evening for participants, starting with Pure Barre at the Park then mixing and mingling in the local community at MacDuffs, all while raising funds for a terrific cause.
Pure Barre Greenwich was started by owner Ashley Allen in 2012. After a childhood of competitive gymnastics and tennis and a lifetime passion for exercise and fitness, Ashley graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from Temple University, with a focus in exercise and sport science. Having been an instructor at the Philadelphia Pure Barre location during college, she fell in love with the technique and saw a method that could help her both physically and mentally reach her optimal fitness level and strength. Through building the Pure Barre Greenwich community Ashley has been able to help inspire and challenge thousands of people over the past four years. Pure Barre has a tried and true method that can shape everybody, help you reach your fitness goals and fit any schedule.
