As glamorous as it sounds, efficiently checking off the boxes to all of your beauty maintenance needs can actually be daunting: who has the time? Between driving to each specialty location, finding parking (a beast in itself) and finding an appointment time that works with your and the technicians schedule the task at hand is more of an obstacle course than a mini session of R&R. Rachel Zoe co-founded DreamDry with Robin Moraetes, Hudson Blvd. Group’s President and she now serves as the Creative Director across all brands! So you are wondering just how much time this saves right? You’re probably thinking that because it sounds too good to be true it must be a fortune and you’re also weighing out if the time to travel to Scarsdale washes out the time saved.
No, no and no. As a comparison: lashes alone can usually take 90 minutes for the fill in alone-this does not include travel time to and from said lash destination. A blow out usually takes 30-50 minutes – again not including the travel time. You get the drift. Finding parking and prior appointments running late can also chime into what makes each appointment a longgggg time expense.
But at BLVD none of that exists: you simply drive there (25 mins from Grw FYI), park right outside the salon (tons of spaces BTW) and enter. It IS that simple.
In three hours FLAT I got my hair braided, artwork on my nails (the only artwork specialist, Carol, in the entire AREA aside from NYC!), waxed, lashes refilled and brows shaped to utter perfection by Vicky (the brows alone were enough to make me an instant loyalist!) – ALL OF THIS would have typically taken me over a combined 8+ hours over the course of multiple days.
I cannot speak highly enough of this incredible beauty destination. If you love your regime and don’t have the time be sure to pop into BLVD – it will be your new fav hot spot.
