Unless Cartier or Philippe Patek is slapped in the center of a watches face I have difficulty justifying any price in the thousands for any watch nonetheless an apple made watch made of 18 karat gold with a sapphire crystal display, Sold exclusively in hand picked shops for a limited amount of time only and being a limited edition all these little deets are apparently special enough to justify the up to $17,000 price tag on the gold apple watch. The problem is that we all know that apple will release a upgraded version of their watch and most likely of their gold watch and will introduce something insane like the platinum apple watch within months so WHAT i s the point. On the flip side justifying something like three Chanel surf boards or two return flights first class to London or Sydney seems totally justifiable.
