Greenwich is at its best right now. With November giving us a few extra warm’ish days, it is the perfect time to get outside before the real cold kicks in. Whether you want a quick walk, fresh air, or an easy way to clear your head, these are three go-to routes that always deliver.
Greenwich Avenue
Start at the top by the Greenwich Library and walk toward the water. It is simple, pretty, and full of great stops along the way. Grab a coffee at Coffee Café Roasters, browse a boutique, or pop into the Bruce Museum once you reach the park. If the holiday lights are up, the Avenue has an extra dose of charm that makes the walk even better.
Tod’s Point
For fresh salt air, head to Tod’s. Take the loop around the point and enjoy the mix of beaches, rocks, and wide-open views of the Sound. Pause at Innis Arden Cottage or sit on a bench and just take in the view. Sunrise and sunset here are always worth it.
Audubon Greenwich
If you want nature, this is the spot. The trails wind through meadows, ponds, and backcountry woods. It is quiet, relaxing, and feels far from town even though it is minutes away. The Main Sanctuary Trail is an easy starting point and you may even spot a few animals along the way.
We have a small window of bonus warm weather, so now is the time to enjoy it. Grab a friend, grab a coffee, and get outside while it still feels like fall.
