ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
About Veuve Clicquot champagne: Since its foundation in 1772, Veuve Clicquot has remained true to its motto: “only one quality, the finest.” Its history carries the mark of an exceptional woman: Madame Clicquot. This young widow of 27 years old was left devastated by the untimely death of her husband, but courageously took up the helm of the family business. She was uncompromising on quality, and set off to conquer the world, transmitting her taste for excellence and innovation to her successors.
The entire history of the House of Veuve Clicquot is marked by mythical wines, all of which respect the demand for quality that was the force that drove Madame Clicquot. True to this heritage, a short lineage of just 10 Cellar Masters has ensured continuity of the Veuve Clicquot style: strength and complexity.
