Winter Pastels & How to Wear Them.Winter is often a season in which we put away our brights and pastels in place of warm and earthy neutrals like cognac, burgundy, and pumpkin. Not this time! This winter, I leave you with a couple of tips on how to wear pastels in the winter.1) Focus on one color, and keep the rest grounded. It you want to do mint, make your top or jacket mint, and keep the rest anchored, using such textures as dark denim and black slacks.2) Start small, if you’re nervous. Accessories like hats, gloves, scarves, shoes, and jewelry are an easy and light commitment without the sense of permanence that comes with purchasing an item of clothing.3) If you’re emboldened, go all out! If you live in a location where it is warm even in the winter season (jealous), then take on the pastel trend and rock it from head to toe. Don a pastel silk top, a patterned skirt, and matching heels. The complete outfit is 100% attention seeking, which is exactly why it’s perfect. This trend is top for the season, and as a lady of Greenwich to do it justice.Pink Set:Top, Giorgio Armani, $441 @ yoox.comSkirt(Luchia), L.K.
