Workouts can tend to get dull when we do the same thing over and over and over again. When this rut takes over it is important to mix up your routine so that you don’t bow out entirely. One easy way to do this is to try something new so I decided to book a session with EC Wellness Pilates in Port Chester. I figured a one on one session would be just the thing to mix up the routine. And I was right! After an hour long session with owner Erica Christ I felt refreshed, revived and ready to go. Initially I was a little nervous to go into something I had not done in years but Erica was the perfect instructor to help me jump this hurdle. Patiently and gently explaining each move we did I felt comfortable and motivated as I learned a little bit more about the art of Pilates. A day later I felt a soft soreness that reminded me of my zen like experience and already has me yearning for more. Stay tuned for the Pilates update as I continue my mission of mixing it up!
