When it comes to home decor, bringing the natural elements from outdoors IN is one of my favorite ways to honor nature while still remaining warm, and, of course, cozy! Right now, literally, is the perfect time to dive right in and get involved with this favorite pastime of mine for one reason: making these few, small, seasonal adjustments can truly make the entire house feel more like home while also giving you the breath of fresh/ new air you were craving to begin with in wanting a redesign! The best part? You can get exactly the same satisfaction for under $100. Keep scrolling.
All three of these awesome ‘natural element’/natural color palette chairs are from Target!
For the fall months I love to mix the natural materials with one another in unexpected ways (mostly through presentation) and let creative linerty rule, allowing myself ro just see what ends up looking best! Often times it is the most random of all combos that wins in the end! Whether the pieces are a variety of woods, driftwood branches, twigs, unique clay or pottery pieces, etc. pieces that simply remind and or reflect the outdoors will do the trick, this is all of course to each their own! Sounds simple and maybe even hard to believe but trust me when I say that these small details make a huge difference – and in more ways than one!
GG Tip + Trick:
When transitioning from summer to fall I like to include a hint of nautical rope throughout the home. Oddly enough, despite its nautical vibe, the density of nautical rope is a beautiful offset to what could otherwise be a stark ambiance..
