Jamie Brewer is known for her work on FX’s tv hit American Horror Story, and she’s a darn good actress. Brewer will soon be making her debut in New York Fashion Week, and her strut down the infamous catwalk will be more than just pioneering for an actress turned model.
From her stellar acting skills to her sunny personality, Jamie Brewer has become a small screen fan favorite as of late. If you weren’t made aware of this darling little fact, Brewer is in possession of that lovely little extra chromosome which causes its bearers to have an eternal smile on their face. This trait, along with the others, are well known to both the science, medicine, and mental health communities alike, and yet you wouldn’t be aware of Brewer having Down Syndrome unless she revealed otherwise.
For Brewer, a walk down the catwalk will not only be epic for her career, but will give a refreshing presence to the public face of Down Syndrome; and we here at The Greenwich Girl couldn’t be more proud.
