Griffin and Howe, (G&H), is one of our little gems, a most noteworthy shop, located at 340 West Putnam Avenue, right next door to Miller Motor Cars, here they still offer, “the finest in firearms since 1923”. G&H has a range of the ‘affordable’, to the, ‘out of this world’, priced guns, depending on one’s experience and preference. Leaving them as the ‘go-to’ for any firearm needs. Offering private shooting lessons as well as the ‘driven shooting experience’ at their beautiful shooting facility at Hudson Farm near Andover, New Jersey. For instruction at a more local level they offer the services of the G&H Shooting school, in Chappaqua NY, only 25 minutes from Greenwich.
G&H is an incredible traditional resource for all GG’s alike. Not only do they cater to all the accoutrement for the shooting sports, but they also offer an array of amazing apparel for both men and women who enjoy the ‘sporting lifestyle’. With a new and improved selection of Barbour, Logsdail Classic, Braeval, Beretta, Filson, Dubarry, Le Chameau, Hunter, G&H’s sporting apparel and footwear collection is unmatched. While some may never have known of the thorough extent to which they cater to the shooting and sporting lifestyle, I can guarantee you will not leave unimpressed after visiting this classic shop.
