Dream Spa & Salon of Greenwich Provides Donation Incentive 

 

GREENWICH, Conn., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 – Dream Spa & Salon of Greenwich is providing Greenwich United Way donors an incentive during the month of June. Anyone that makes a minimum donation of $100 to the Greenwich United Way before June 30th will receive a $25 Dream Spa & Salon of Greenwich gift card and be entered into a “Dream Day” giveaway. The giveaway will consist of the most popular services at Dream Spa & Salon of Greenwich; Aroma Facial, Dream Combossage and Spa Mani/Pedi (Dream Hands and Dream Feet). A spa lunch will be served. Help Greenwich United Way Meet the 2016/2017 Annual Campaign Goal Before June 30 

GREENWICH, Conn., Wednesday, May 24, 2017 – The Greenwich United Way’s Annual Campaign is coming to a close on Friday, June 30. “We need your support to meet our $2 million goal again this year,” said CEO David Rabin. “Funds raised will support our community’s critical needs as identified by our Needs Assessment. Over 12,000 Greenwich residents need our support just to get by.”

Last year, Greenwich United Way funding provided 1600 Greenwich residents with free crisis counseling and sexual assault prevention programs. More than 1500 Greenwich residents benefit from programs providing food and clothing supported by the Greenwich United Way. As the largest private source of funding for preschool scholarships in town, Greenwich United Way dollars supported tuition for 600 children from low or moderate income families.

In April of this year the Greenwich United Way sold its office building at 1 Lafayette Court for $2,495,000 and created an endowment-like fund with the proceeds from the sale to ensure the organization’s future financial viability. A committee selected from Board members was created to manage these funds in the reserve. Greenwich United Way staff will remain at its current location until better functioning office space is leased.
