A $35 Billion Hedge Fund Is Coming To Greenwich

Brevan Howard, the $35 billion global hedge fund, plans to open a Greenwich office in early 2027 — its fourth U.S. location, and another sign of the town's pull for finance.

Greenwich just added another major name to its finance roster.

Brevan Howard, the global hedge fund managing roughly $35 billion, plans to open an office in Greenwich in early 2027, according to Business Insider. It will become the firm's fourth U.S. location, joining New York, Austin and a Miami office expected to open later this year.

Greenwich remains very much in the conversation as a serious finance hub.

The move is part of a bigger shift happening across the hedge fund world. Firms are increasingly opening offices where their people actually want to live and commute, using location as another way to compete for top investment talent.

And Greenwich, of course, is not new to this.

The town has long been home to major hedge funds and investment firms, and Brevan Howard's arrival is another sign that Greenwich remains very much in the conversation as a serious finance hub.

No Greenwich address has been announced yet.

I'll be watching where they land.
