When you find yourself eating as if this is your last meal remember this: you are NOT alone in the self-induced food coma that you put yourself through during COVID or the one that comes along with the pre- (and actual season of) holidays. But this does not mean you need to wear your 1996 Juicy jumpsuit to the workplace or the Thanksgiving table. You CAN be comfortable and stylish, DUH.
In respect of all fashionable GG’s I am going to keep this short and sweet: when it comes to picking out the most appropriate outfit for returning to life a few pounds heavier/post #COVID or in prepping to feast like no other for the holidays just keep it simple, comfortable and, above all, wearing flown/loose fitting clothing on either your trunk or for the bottom portion of your look helps keep the focus away from that area. I tend to pick from one of the below with mild variations. From one GG to another:
- Leggings – elastic waist. Enough said.
- A-line Skirts/dresses + bare legs = you won’t overheat when you overeat.
- A jumpsuit with trouser pants or just trouser pants – this is tricky because you are no doubt asking for attn with this fashion statement but most jumpsuits tend to lend some extra movement abilities so you can safely go for 2nds, 3rds, 4ths…not 5th, stop the madness.
- A body suit – for those opting for the fitting top and loose bottoms
