‘Tis the season to tablescape! With Thanksgiving around the corner there is only one thing on my mind: tablescaping! Whether we spend five minutes or five hours at our dining room table, it is where my favorite memories happen so I like to give it a little extra love when it comes to decor, especially for the holidays. Â And when it comes to floral, nonetheless table-floral decor, I default to Greenwich Orchids.
But before I get into why I love Greenwich Orchids so much, first let me tell you how to get this look for your tablescape this holiday season.Â
For the overall aesthetic of the tablescape I prefer an abundant and full, yet monochromatic, centerpiece that not only adds a beautiful ‘I woke up like this’ look to the entire room 24/7 but one that also provides an element of cozy that tends to encourage dinner guests to linger through dessert (which I always love!)Â
I am drawn to adding branches, a dash of greenery and sometimes a touch of foliage, especially on the outskirts and ends of either side of this table. I have found that this not only draws the eye to the center as the focal point but also brings everything, and everyone, together in what looks like an effortless way.
Â
For greenery, my hint of color, I find painting pumpkins (real or faux) muted tones of green is super easy and gorgeous. I also feel that the dull green color families, typically those with very faint hints of blue within their deepest layers, are best for inner calm as we find ourselves on the countdown to the holiday season. This color palette is the perfect, non-intrusive transition from fall to winter and somehow always tends to provoke a feeling an ambient peace.
Speaking of, back to my love for Greenwich Orchids, this magical gem of a destination tends provoke the very same feeling of serenity! Chock full of exquisite arrangements, floral accessories, gifts and more, Greenwich Orchids has something for everyone, and always only has the best of the best. For inspo, shopping or any type of floral planning, trust me when I say Greenwich Orchids is the go-to!Â
