Are you a Lilly loving, Vineyard Vines hugging, pastel and bright color adoring self proclaimed prep? Have you had internal arguments about what age certain Lilly prints are no longer age appropriate and wondered how long you can get away with wearing a little pink whale on every item of your clothing? For the fashionistas among us there is one brand that combines the happiness of colors and harnesses the force of patterns in sophisticated fits and flattering combinations for the spring summer season: Barbara Gerwit. If you haven’t heard of her google her immediately. Not only are these dresses super flattering, comfortable and beyond adorable in style but they are so easy to manage [especially while traveling] that is feels almost wrong to have such a fabulous wardrobe staple without the inconvenience of mandatory steaming prior to each wear. Leave it to Kathie Lee and Hoda to shine light on this fabulous brand on the Today Show where they shared Barbara Gerwit as one of their favorite things – lucky for us there is one little gem of a shop in town that sells this brand EXCLUSIVELY: Pinky’s of Greenwich. For the returning GG readers among us it is no surprise that I am raving about this little hidden jewel of a shop but for the newbies out there let me tell you that if there is one must-go-to stop in town it is Pinky’s. Located next to Continental Wine & Liquor this little shop has every accessory you can imagine and wardrobe pieces that are beyond difficult to come by. Forget ordering online and waiting for days to get that little adorable BG dress and pop into Pinky’s before they fly off the rack. *
*pls note – I am not positive that ALL shown BG dresses are avail at Pinky’s, but you get the drift on how cute they are and I promise you she has an impressive collection available NOW!
