CP-AC FITNESS CLASS SCHEDULE AND INSTRUCTOR ROSTER MORE THAN 100 CLASSES A WEEK OFFERED
Chelsea Piers Connecticut is excited to announce the class
schedule for CP-AC Fitness, the new 65,000 square foot fitness center and clubhouse, as well as the
roster of instructors. The class schedule is one of the most comprehensive in Fairfield County with
more than 100 classes a week in more than 13 sports. The list of instructors and personal trainers
includes some of the most popular in the area.
Weekly classes begin as early as 5:30am, seven days a week. Classes and programs take place at
CP-AC Fitness and at the other sports venues at Chelsea Piers, including: cardio tennis, aqua jog,
masters swim, cycling, triathlon, adult gymnastics, Zumba, yoga and kick boxing.

The class schedule includes: mind-body classes, strength training classes, cardio/ strength combo
classes, and cardio classes. Some highlights include:
Tabata – Push out of your comfort zone with cardio and resistance intervals using your own body
weight. This form of training has been proven to increase both muscle strength and cardio
endurance in a total body workout.
Training Series – Kick your training up a notch with our Specialty Training classes, which are
designed to keep your workout fresh, produce results and keep you excited about coming to the
gym. These small group classes feature intensive instruction in the areas of kettlebells, boxing,
plyometrics and barbell movements.
Hot Yoga –Classes offered in the hot yoga studio include detox yoga with classic yoga moves and
Vinyasa Flow yoga.
Cardio TRX – The Queenax Bridge Studio provides TRX suspension exercises to work on your
core and treadmills and rowers to work on your cardio. This interval training class elevates your
heart rate for short stints to create an effective workout.
Trampoline Fitness – Get a great cardio workout while experiencing the excitement of jumping
on our 26 trampolines. This cardio workout incorporates several different types of jumps that will
be sure to make you sweat.

Chelsea Piers Connecticut (CPCT) is a 465,000-square-foot state-of-the-art sports and recreation facility located in Stamford, CT, just off I-95 at Exit 9. Opened in July 2012, CPCT features two indoor ice rinks, an Olympic pool and adjacent 6,000-sq.-ft. 25,000 square feet of strength and cardio equipment, a dedicated mind/body center for Pilates Reformer classes, multi-disciplinary and hot yoga, as well as traditional group fitness studios and dedicated space for triathlon and competitive cycling training. There will be more than 110 weekly fitness classes and programs. Additionally, there will be a custom Queenax Bridge studio creating endless possibilities for suspension, boxing and functional training.
Like Chelsea Piers New York, Chelsea Piers Connecticut combines world-class athletic facilities with an extensive array of professional instructors and year-round sports programming for children and adults of all ages. There are more than 10 teams competing under the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club umbrella.
CPCT is also home to a childcare facility and preschool, a Harrow pro shop, a grab-and-go café, a 150-seat restaurant and bar, Stamford Hospital’s 18,500-sq.-ft. Orthopedic and Spine Institute, CrossFit S-Town and a BlueStreak Sports athletic training center.
