Greenwich Police Department is marking a milestone 130 years of service this fall, and there are two easy ways to celebrate it with them — one black-tie, one shopping-bag.
The 130th Anniversary Greenwich Policeman's Ball happens Saturday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Riverside Yacht Club, honoring the extraordinary service of the Greenwich Police Department while raising funds for college scholarships for the children of Greenwich police officers.
Two great Greenwich events, one very worthy local cause — and both help send police officers' kids to college.
It's one of those quintessential Greenwich evenings with an even better reason to get dressed up — and if you're planning to go, tickets and details are available now through the Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund at gpdscholarshipfund.org/policemans-ball.
Ahead of the Ball, there's another way to support the cause without waiting for black-tie season: Veronica Beard Greenwich is hosting a shopping event Wednesday, October 7 from 5–7 p.m., featuring the launch of the Fall 2026 Trailblazers Collection, complimentary fashion illustrations by Deanna First, and skincare consultations and B12 injections with the NicholsMD team. Fifteen percent of that evening's proceeds go directly to the Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund.
