One of the years biggest fundraising efforts is going down right here at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre to help the 9/11 Memorial complete construction in Cos Cob. The incredible Caroline Jones, Ian Murray Band and Dispatch will all be playing that night to support this incredible community effort. Not only is this project one I personally want to help with in any way possible but it should be one that all are eager to assist with. VIP tickets get you an hour reception with the bands, open bar, food, VIP parking and a VIP viewing area right off the stage. There are only 250 tickets available so act fast! One of the biggest projects going on in town right now is the development of and fundraising for The September 11 Memorial, to be located in the Cos Cob Park, which is currently in development. As we all know in 2001 September 11 marked a date that will forever be remembered leaving a tremendous and tragic impact on many lives. Affecting over 32 local citizens our town feels a memorial is imperative in remembering those we lost while also educating the future generations of what happened on this day.
But this Memorial can only happen with your help!
