A curated selection of over 70 fantasy shoes by 20 artists is now open to the public right here in Greenwich at Flinn Gallery (located inside Greenwich Library!) from 2/3/22 -3/16/22! The Just Shoes: Art, Craft and Fantasy Meet exhibit showcases a curated collection borrowed from the dazzling exhibit originally commissioned by Jane Weitzman, wife of the well-known and super popular shoe designer, Stuart Weitzman.
Open to all visitors from 2/3/22-3/16/22 at Flinn Gallery, conveniently located inside of the Greenwich library, this exhibit is just a piece of a much bigger collection that Jane Weitzman brought to life and share with the world in a jaw-dropping exhibit, the result of what began as just a dream and a vision that she had. Jane traveled the world to discover artists who could help her bring this idea to life. Featuring pieces that were created using a surprising array of materials and forms, blending traditional craftsmanship with the unexpected. Totally unwearable and joyfully defiant of practical use and anatomy, these pieces of art exist purely to delight the eye and the imagination.
