I am feeling a little little beachy! And I’m taking you to St. Bart’s for the best of the best in food and shopping. Get your flip flips and your sunscreen ready for this one!
L’Esprit: Described as “One of the best tables on the island, without a doubt”, L’Esprit is the first on our list of places to stop and enjoy the island breeze. Chef Jean-Claude Dufour is highly acclaimed in the food industry and will deliver the upmost in class, elegance, and flavor each and every time. Not to mention, the close proximity to the beach and the “open-air” vibe combined with the stunning views and spectacular cuisine is the perfect cocktail for a night or day to remember. The menus are designed to be “enticing, featuring a mix of classics and new recipes
”. Moreover, their food is to die for, and you can enjoy “the duck spring rolls, the salad of white cabbage and mango, or the seared foie gras to start, followed by such specialties as roast pigeon, chestnut-artichoke tortellini, or braised veal with ravioli, and butternut blinis”. This place is a dream.
Donna Del Sol: To get that perfect keepsake from your lavish vacation, Donna Del Sol has become a renowned jeweler in St. Barts that is sure to have that special sparkler that you so desperately need. She founded the company in 1994, and she “has been presenting her magnificent selection of exquisite creations and designs, which has brought collectors of fine jewels and gems from around the world to her doorstep.” Everything is made at the “finest ateliers of Europe and Israel”, and once you see her pieces and designs, you will believe it for yourself. Her collections include “Cult Collections”, “Flower My Power”, “Pretty Precious”, “Diamond Dreams”, and “Pearl Me”, and you are sure to find the most bedazzling piece of jewelry that you will never want to take off!
Sand Bar: This restaurant is seriously idyllic in all that it has to offer. Located at Eden Rock, Sand Bar serves every meal from breakfast to dinner and sits overlooking the “breathtaking panorama over the Caribbean Sea”. To truly put it over the edge, “When the sun sets over Saint Jean Bay, the restaurant changes its name to the Sand Bar Night and turns into a welcoming island lounge”, so you can take your daytime lounging into nighttime dancing all in one stunning location. On their menu, written in French, there are appetizers, meat, fish, “wellness” dishes, pizza, pasta, sides, “simply cooked”, and dessert, offering a little something for everyone. You will absolutely have an amazing time dining at this luxury restaurant, and with this natural backdrop, you will have the perfect pictures to show for it, too.
Pati De St. Barth: Inspired by a women and her quest for “a quiet haven for her inspiration”, Pati De St. Barth was founded in 1983 with a desire to bring her artistic passions to life. It all started when she had hoped to buy paint supplies and needed the means to do so, so she designed “logos emblematic of her new found island, and imprinted them on colorful sun-washed t-shirts that would sell out in the few boutiques on the island.” Fast-forward to modern day, and the logo ST BARTH FRENCH WEST INDIES is the local logo of the island. You can find it on the “flattering beachwear reminiscent of sun drenched days and joy-filled vacations by a turquoise sea” sold through her brand, and all of her garments hold the “true island spirit of St Barth” within their seams. If you love this story and message, just wait until you see the clothes!
